One Night Singer

Three months passed and Dolly was confined to her flat. She was working in an IT company and designed personalised programme. Clients came to her less for work and more for looking at her beautiful face and well shaped body, healthy and attractive. She never hesitated in giving company for drinks and good food. She also accepted money after spending nights but without a return rides. She liked hiring cabs to avoid anyone visiting her place. Her all pleasantries were confined to good hotels of high standards. She enjoyed watching men and women in good and lovely dresses. She got her dresses designed by self also unique. None ever quarried about style she followed. You could say it to be a mix of modern and classical. She went out in dresses liked by the client which helped her to get more money. She couldn’t tell where she learnt this. Only she recalled a young fellow lesser in age by five years. But the fellow had a melodious voice and often she tried to sing with him, but not much success. She couldn’t think if being a singer with her husky voice which turned into shrill while singing. The fellow never discouraged or encouraged despite availing her first time in club premise where he gave performance.

Beginning

Now she was all time in flat. Her entertainment confined to movies and ling running TV shows. One day she found an app promoting singing on phone. She git registered and recorded her first song where music and wordings were visible on the screen. She got a rating if A+ declaring she sang better than 85% in that group.

Next move

She was encouraged and started singing many songs every day. She found her voice modulated and pleasant. Number of admirers grew large. One day a music company invited her for recording song. In the pandemic she took all precautions and presented herself for recording of song on recorded music and song wording on the screen in front. She sang confidently and later went to the office of the director to collect payment. The man sitting across the table was the young men who was singing ti her years back. She couldn’t check herself and rushed to kiss the man even in pandemic. She refused payment and was satisfied to meet old friend.

Conclusion

She continued programming from home and always went on invitation given by the friend. She also decided to marry the nan after pandemic. She couldn’t explain to self the reason for delaying the event of marriage. But she was a happy person doing job and enjoying life.
